TRAINING SESSION IN CULTURAL EVENT MANAGEMENT
10-14 March 2013
The first 5-day training session in Cultural Event Management has take
place from Sunday March 10th to Thursday May 14th 2013 in the premises
of the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo. In the framework of the
Project co-funded by the European Union Kalam le-l-Shabab. Youth
Creativity and Poetry in Today's Egypt, the training is devoted to
local cultural operators coming from Luxor and Alexandria. The two
local cultural operators chosen by the Project Management together with
the Italian Cultural Institute are the "Association of writers", Luxor
Office, and the "Friends of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina" in Alexandria.
The choice of these two cultural operators lies in the established
network of writers and poets that both associations experience. The 3
representatives of the two cultural operators are particularly chosen
under 30 years old, because it's in line with the Project's guidelines
to form young professionals in the Cultural Management field.
